Introducing Classes & Gatherings

|Gennesis Alexandra

An exciting new offering that will live beyond the studio, IRL and online.

As the oldest daughter and first generation, caring for others has always been a part of my life. It’s also something I’ve carried into my career.

I love what I do. I love holding space. I love caring for your skin, your nails, your hair. I love building beautiful projects and helping brands within the industry bring their ideas to life. And I love that I’m a doula now, too.

Over the years, I’ve experienced loss, witnessed new life, and moved through many seasons of change, both personally and professionally. And in this season, I find myself returning to self-care.

I love the spa & salon, and I believe deeply in the kind of care that happens there. There is something special about receiving a thoughtfully crafted treatment and allowing someone else to care for you. It’s a practice I value.

I also find myself thinking about all the other ways we care for ourselves and one another.

Showing up for one another

I want to create space for people who can hold polarities. Beauty and grief. Ambition and rest. Science and tradition. Individual care and collective care.

I’m less interested in wellness that feels exclusive or out of reach. I’m interested in what happens when we share what we know, bring different people into the conversation, and make room for one another.

Our studio is run by service workers. We care for people for a living, and we take that seriously.

Yes, we want to care for you when you come through our doors. But we also want to show up differently. We want to share resources, introduce you to people doing meaningful work, create gatherings, learn together, and make care feel more like something we can participate in together.

This fall, I want to return to that kind of care.

And I want to invite you into it.

Classes & Gatherings will look a little different throughout the season. Some will be about movement, others about conversation, creativity, language, or simply spending time together. Some will happen online, some in the studio, and others out in our local community.

We’ll keep sharing what’s coming as we go. If cost is ever a barrier, please email me about sliding scale availability at info@cimawellness.com.
